Members of EIA can display their great ideas, inventions and
products in the display cases at the famous Edison-Ford Winter Estate (where we
hold our meeting every third Wednesday, 7 to 9 pm). By random drawing, one lucky E.I.A. display wins the prize of a $60 year membership. This
year’s winner was …Ray Scarbowski.. For displaying the Zit Zapper .
Other displays deserving recognition are Mark Pasek (Lift
Alone), George Horvath (Pet Food Caddy), Gerald Schlaf (Wheelchair Lift), Tim
Bourke (Rope Cinch) and Frank Schooley (Shelter In A Day). Patent attorney Frank Fodale is planning a patent seminar for March (timely for the “first to file” changes.
Dr. Gary Nelson welcomed recruits as judges for the upcoming Young Inventors Fair on Feb. 2 at FGCU.
Karl Gibbons gave some rules for Gator Cage presentation…and with Joe Gross, offered to evaluate a pitch from EIA member Mike Kirby.
Mike took the
stage to present his great idea… “The Rinse Off”.
It’s a portable battery powered shower for cleaning “on-the-go” for your
bike, boat, rods, kayaks – or anything
else needing attention before packing, hauling or storing.
