My Youtube guru has been hounding us to utilize video power to funnel web site traffic. He wants us to create several short videos that entertain, inform and feed viewers (like a funnel) to a primary video. The primary video will be more intense, descriptive and hopefully send the viewer directly to a targeted web site for specific purpose or action.
Here's the trick he teaches. While those short videos entertain, they also include a annotation pop-up note that encourages viewers to "click", link and advance to the primary video.
Good news - the annotation feature is free. So is the link feature. Thus those short Youtube videos funnel customers to the primary pitch video....that presents the web site features.
